We have an exciting opportunity for two friendly, experienced and organised individuals to join our small reception team within Mental Health & Learning Disabilities, providing reception duties and administrative support to two inpatient wards.
The purpose of the role is to:
- provide a joint receptionist & administrative service to the inpatient wards at Broadway Health Park,
- provide a friendly, effective reception, advice & information service to patients, visitors, and colleagues,
- organise own workload and work closely with the other Directorate administrator, secretaries and admin lead to deliver administrative support,
- work within the trust values and core standards at all times,
- the post-holder will be expected to work flexibly and provide cover when colleagues are on leave.
As ward receptionist you will need to be patient and polite in communications, maintaining a professional approach when interacting with our patients and visitors and all members of the multi professional team.
This is a busy role, and we are looking for an empathetic person who has proven organisational skills and who can manage and prioritise a busy workload, with an eye for accuracy and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
We have 2 vacancies available, one for 18 hours per week, one for 27 hours per week.
