**The Thistle Inn - Bar & Brasserie** is currently under new management and refurbishment. We are looking to open around April time so this wouldn’t be an immediate start so please keep this in mind.

**Job Summary**:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced shift supervisor to join our team. As a shift supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant and ensuring exceptional guest services. This is a leadership role that requires strong supervisory skills and a passion for hospitality.

**Duties**:

- Manage and supervise all departments, including front desk, housekeeping, food and beverage, and maintenance
- Ensure smooth operations and efficient service delivery
- Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and requests in a timely and professional manner
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure guest satisfaction
- Train and develop staff members to provide excellent customer service
- Monitor employee performance and provide feedback
- Implement and enforce hotel policies and procedures
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, safety, and hygiene throughout the hotel
- Assist with human resources tasks such as scheduling, payroll, and recruitment

**Qualifications**:

- Previous experience in a supervisory/managerial role within the hospitality industry
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Multilingual abilities are highly desirable
- Knowledge of restaurant operations and guest services
- Familiarity with human resources processes is a plus
- Ability to handle difficult situations with professionalism and composure
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

**Must hold personal licence or willing to undergo exam.**

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: £12.00-£13.50 per hour

Expected hours: 16 - 35 per week
