Rutherford Briant are recruiting for a Group Financial Controller for their client based close to Bishop Stortford. This role will work closely with the CFO and stakeholders, playing a key part in strategic acquisitions and development of the business.
This role will play a part in financial reporting, control and compliance. Within this role, you will be responsible for leading the delivery of the financial reporting and control framework across the group.
- Producing and updating of the Group Finance Manual, reporting, forecasting and budgeting timetables
- Consolidation and reporting of Monthly Group management accounts, Budgets and forecasts, along with Group Statutory Accounts and interim results
- Group Annual Report production and statutory accounts production for subsidiaries
- Implementation of a consolidation system for the production of consolidated monthly management accounts and year end statutory accounts
- Cash forecasting
- Production of tax packs
- Management of the year end audit
- Financial accounting and reporting
- Responsible for the general ledger
Ideal experience -- Qualified Accountant, CIMA, ACA or ACCA
- Ideally experience in a practice environment
