Practice Plus Group were recently awarded the healthcare contract at HMP Belmarsh.

We are the Health in Justice Market leader, providing healthcare services to offenders across the country. Our model of care is our Wellbeing Approach - an integrated, comprehensive approach in recognition of the fact prisoners are a socially-excluded group with healthcare needs which are complex and often associated with poor outcomes. It adopts the premise no single health/wellbeing factor can be taken in isolation of other motivational issues which might impact a person’s care.

You will provide high quality assessment and interventions for adults within the prison and immigration removal centres across Health in Justice using evidence based interventions. You will undertake clinical sessions, and manage a caseload as required and function as an autonomous clinician, with a role in supporting delivery of the model and providing support to other other parts of the workforce.

**About You**:

- disciplinary team, ideally across multiple sites/ locations, as well as being Health Professions Council - Licence to Practice.

You’ll receive an annual salary up to £46,000

**About Us**:
HMP Belmarsh is a Category A men’s prison with an operational capacity of over 910 inmates and is located in South East London. The site houses a High Security Unit (HSU) and is regarded as the most secure prison unit in the United Kingdom.

HMP Belmarsh was built on part of the East site of the former Royal Arsenal in Woolwich, and became operational on 2 April 1991. It is adjacent to and adjoins Woolwich Crown Court.
