MYM Recruitment are excited to be working with our existing Ballyclare client. They now wish to recruit highly driven **Procurement Coordinator** to join their busy Ballyclare Depot. **Key Duties/Responsibilities include but may not be limited to**:
- Carrying out procurement of parts and materials with established providers
- Liaising with transport/logistics carriers to manage transport arrangements for purchases
- Analysing pricing structures with management, giving consideration to currency influences
- Negotiating best value for inbound pricing
- Updating product costing lists based on current buying prices
- Updating the sales RRP based on market research and ensuring best margin for the business
- Creating and maintaining a portfolio of supplier contacts and products supplied
- Establishing parts cases for Group customers to avoid pricing disparities between Depots
- Develop and diversify sales from alternative to other manufacturer brands
- Stock management as a whole
- Identification of aged stock issues, stock reports and identification of stock for potential clearance offers / promotions
- Production of regular reports e.g. outstanding orders, sales per product group etc
- Central administration point of contact for all depots e.g. quality/pricing feedback, warranty, availability issues etc
- Central point of communication to sales team to share information
**Essential Criteria**:
- Possess a third level qualification in a business related discipline
- Demonstrable experience of working in a procurement role possessing first hand purchasing experience
- Possess strong commercial and business acumen with good analytical skills
- Be a strong negotiator with an assertive approach to dealing with suppliers
- Be an excellent communicator who listens actively, thinks strategically and follows up on outstanding matters
- Possess a proactive, flexible and methodical approach to work
- Possess the drive to identify or anticipate future opportunities
- Be self-motivated, with the ability to work under pressure using their own initiative
- Be a team player who actively shares information with the team and is committed to achieving success in this area of the business
- Be able to manage their time effectively
- Possess demonstrable knowledge of Microsoft Office packages including Outlook, Word and Excel
- Possess a full, valid driving licence
**Desired Criteria**:
- Previous knowledge and experience of parts related to the heavy vehicle industry would be advantageous
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
