Expeditor

Overview:
**Seeking an Aerospace Expeditor for a 3 months opportunity near Mansfield, Nottinghamshire**
- Expediting parts through the shop floor to ensure improved due dates are met
- Ensure that any potential slippages are escalated quickly.
- Evaluate impact on delivery schedule should there be a design change, stoppages, machine failures etc.
- Review and progress improvement plan, setting up and progressing day-plans.

**Required Skills**:

- Aerospace engineering background, coupled with solid manufacturing experience.
- Solid expediting and planning background.
- Excellent communications skills.
- Understanding of shop floor flow and capacity planning,
- Able to think fast when problems arrise.
- Provide detailed information capture and interpretation.

The expediting role will be supporting our customers internal team, expediting parts from the supplier and helping them on their journey to improve.

You'll be providing daily updates to the customers team and working with the supplier on order book management, and managing demand through the shop floor to deliver parts.

UK Citizenship required.

This role is considered inside IR35.
