**Job Title - Full Time Parts Sales Advisor**

**Department - Stores / Parts Sales**

**Overall purpose of the job**

To develop and maintain high standards of customer service to maximise the sale of parts.

To provide effective customer service and build relationships with both internal and external customers.

**Responsibilities**

Ensuring that all parts sales are accurately, sufficiently, and suitably entered onto in-house computer system.

To ensure accurate identification of customers’ needs by means of parts catalogues and computer stock lists.

The ability to work in a very busy environment and still maintain high standards of work and customer service.

To comply with and maintain company policies, standards and procedures relating to quality and customer care.

**Key Result Areas**

Increase turnover of parts sales.

Cost control on parts through seeking alternative parts suppliers for more competitive price(s).

Ensure that paperwork is up to date.

Improved customer relationships measured by customer complaints and customer retention.

**Standards of Performance**

To maintain a high standard of customer service at all times.

Develop own competence to meet requirements of job.

Demonstrate effectively able to help customers with their enquiries.

Ensure that all paperwork is up to date and accurate.

**Physical Effort**

There is mínimal lifting requirement to carry out the main responsibilities of this job function.

**Parts After-Sales Administrator - Person Specification**:
Key Attributes:
Must have previous experience handling parts enquiries, ideally in the automotive industry.

General knowledge of computers and Microsoft software packages.

**Qualities**

Ability to troubleshoot and put forward new ideas to improve processes within the department.

Ability to prioritise own work and work within the department to assist others.

Confidence to put forward views and contribute to the development of the department.
