Van Converter

Shaw Van Conversions specialises in converting vans into chillers and freezers for the food industry. The job will involve insulating and lining out a van, fibreglass work and the fitting of refrigeration units (training given) This requires several skills so basic knowledge of carpentry and basic mechanics is an advantage. Ability to use your initiative and problem solving

At least 2 years experience of using an angle grinder.

On job training given using companies own technics to the right person.

The pay will be reviewed after 3 months or as experience is gained. 28 days holiday including Bank Holidays. Nest pension scheme after 3 months.

40 hours per week. 8.15am to 5pm Monday to Friday

Hand sanitiser is available and you would have use of your own work bench and tools. Some tools are shared but disinfectant wipes are available for wiping down before and after use.
