Cake Finishing

We are a family run wholesale bakery, established for nearly 20 years making high quality cakes, tarts and puddings in our bakery in St Mary Cray, Kent.

We have a vacancy in our finishing team, with duties which will include decorating cakes, slicing and packing baked goods, operating packaging machinery, washing up, cleaning and maintaining high standards of hygiene and organisation.

We do not work on weekends or bank holidays, and shut down every year for the period between Christmas and New Year. We operate a private health cash plan to help with the costs of dental, optical and other treatments.

The job will involve regular Mon - Fri hours of 8am - 4pm. No shiftwork, no weekends.

The vacancy will suit someone who is self motivated, with quick hands and good attention to detail.

Previous experience in the bakery, pastry or catering trade is a bonus, as is a current Food Hygiene certificate.

You must be legally able to work in the UK. We do not pay cash in hand.

Pay: From £11.44 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
