A Nursing Associate is a new member of the nursing team in England. This role is designed to help bridge the gap between health and care assistants and registered nurses. Nursing associate is a stand-alone role. The role will contribute to the core work of nursing, freeing up registered nurses to focus on more complex clinical care.
During the apprenticeship you will work as a Band 3 Apprentice Nursing Associate alongside completing your studies and experiencing practice placements.
**Requirements**:
- English and Maths Level 2 (functional skills level 2 or GCSE (or O level) grade c or 4 and above).
- Gained qualifications/studied at level 3 or above (A Level/Level 3 BTEC/NVQ 3 or equivalent)
- **OR **have significant previous experience (over 6 months) in a healthcare setting
- Willing to complete/commit to the required study for this role
