**Responsibilities**:

- **Student-Centered Support**: As a Behaviour Mentor, you will provide tailored support to students with SEN, both in the classroom and when they face emotional avoidance challenges. Your responsibilities include:

- ** Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)**: Collaborate with students to develop individual education plans that cater to their specific needs and support their academic and social development.
- ** Collaboration and Communication**: Work closely with parents, carers, and professionals to ensure students receive comprehensive and personalized support. Effective communication is key to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
- ** Pastoral Support**: Provide pastoral support to students and their families, building positive relationships and promoting emotional well-being.
- ** Positive Behaviour Strategies**: Promote positive behavior and relationship-building strategies within the school community, fostering an inclusive and respectful environment for all.
- ** Emotional and Behavioural Support**: Develop and implement effective strategies to support students with emotional and behavioural difficulties, helping them overcome challenges and achieve personal growth.
- ** Collaborative Approach**: Work collaboratively with the school staff to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment that meets the diverse needs of our students.

**Requirements**:
**Qualifications and Experience**:

- Hold a Bachelor's degree in education or a related field.
- Possess a minimum of 2 years of experience working with students with SEN, particularly in the area of emotional and behavioural difficulties.
- Previous experience in pastoral lead work and family support is highly valued.

**Interpersonal Skills**:

- Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively.

**Confidentiality and Safeguarding**:

- Maintain confidentiality and uphold the highest standards of safeguarding the welfare of our students.
