We are looking for committed School Cook in a rural school in the Morpeth/Ashington area with immediate start.

This is a small rural school, with lovely children and friendly staff - their school community is like a family They require someone to support them and their children to provide delicious, healthy meals to fuel their day and become a valued member of their team.

**Working hours**: 10:30am - 1:30pm

Person Specification

Minimum Essential Requirements
- Right to work in the UK
- Minimum of 2 references
- Enhanced DBS clearance

Experience/Qualifications
- Have basic food hygiene certificate
- Experience of working in a primary school kitchen

**Responsibilities**:

- Prepare, cook and serve food following agreed menus and accommodating any special dietry requirements
- Maintain a high standard of cleanliness in the school kitchen including equipment and surrounding working areas.
- Set up and clear away after lunch including, washing up and cleaning tables.
- Comply with all food and Health and Safety standards and regulation.
- Take responsibility for maintaining and ordering stock and ensure appropriate storage and labelling procedures are followed.
