Due to the growth of the business, we are currently looking for an experienced HR Advisor to join our expanding team at our Head Office in Ampfield, near Romsey. This is being offered on a permanent basis. This role reports directly to the Head of HR.
We can be flexible on working arrangements and will be happy to discuss either full or part time hours. However, due to the nature of the role, you will be required on occasion to travel to our various sites across the south of England to support with employee related matters. A pool car will be provided.
The salary we are offering is up to £33,500 per annum depending on experience (pro-rata if part time). The hours of work are Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5.00pm.

**What you will do on a typical day**:
- Provide support and expert advice to managers in employee relations matters, whilst mitigating risk to the business.
- Coaching, advising, and providing pragmatic support to managers on HR policies and procedures including disciplinary, redundancy, grievance, etc.
- Advising and providing expert knowledge on recruitment best practice including assisting and developing recruitment campaigns. Working with key stakeholders to ensure vacancies are filled in a timely manner.
- Monitoring and reporting on key recruitment metrics.
- Provide support to the Head of HR in implementing new policies and procedures/business initiatives.
**What you need to succeed at Hillier**:
- CIPD qualified at level 5 (desirable).
- Considerable experience in a general HR role, providing HR advice to a range of managers.
- Experience of dealing with complex cases/enquiries.
- Understanding of relevant UK legislation.
- Ability to work collaboratively and as part of a close team.
- Confident working with people at all levels.
- The ability to work well under pressure.
- Ability to demonstrate a fair and consistent approach to decision making.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
