**Team/Function Overview**:
The Client Outreach team services Citi’s clients globally in relation to reviewing regulatory reporting submissions globally. The team sits within the Operations Regulatory Control group which is a centralized unit within ICG O&T that is responsible for the implementation and oversight of regulatory reporting, including exception management and risk mitigation across swap dealer reporting. The Client Outreach team within ORC is responsible for:

- Consistent interaction with external clients to facilitate partnering across Markets to remediate regulatory issues identified.
- Maintaining a culture and environment where processes, risks and controls are continually monitored, and potential risks escalated on a timely basis.
- Ensuring the infrastructure and tools are in place to effectively manage regulatory reporting issues and service our clients to a high standard.
- Developing and fostering key relationships with our clients - Enabling open and effective communication to facilitate the delivery of high standards of client service.
- Completing analysis and using large data sets to produce MIS to help drive action and decision.

**Role / Position Overview**:

- Responsible for leading and contributing to the establishment and build out of a new team including contributing ideas for team formation, providing structure & strategic vision.
- Manage day-to-day communication with clients, partnering with internal regulatory reporting teams to understand issues and communicate effectively.
- Direct point of contact for clients with accountability to ensure all client queries related to regulatory reporting issues are addressed efficiently and effectively.
- Responsible for liaising with internal Subject Matter Experts, understanding the problem(s) and communicating them in a client friendly manner to the end stakeholder.
- Accountable for the ongoing data remediation and the underlying client satisfaction of those data points.
- Accountable for establishing new controls to ensure Citi provide a pro-active approach to engaging with clients to remediate regulatory reporting issues.
- Build relationships across Operations & Technology, Compliance, Legal, Risk, Internal Audit and Cross-Asset business unit managers to ensure queries are addressed and remediated in an effective and efficient manner.
- Identification and tracking of risks and issues, ensuring appropriate escalation processes and timelines are followed, ensuring that we deliver improvements to our regulatory reporting obligations.
- Responsible for data analysis and generating MIS, to ensure appropriate levels of transparency are provided to the wider ORC group & relevant stakeholders.
- Team management and build out of a growing team in Belfast.

**Qualifications**:

- Previous financial services or customer relationship experience.
- People Management experience.
- Experience in leading and driving process improvements/ client initiatives to achieve better client service.
- Proven client service track record.
- Strong expertise in Microsoft Office Tools, especially Excel
- Self-starting, enthusiastic & professional.
- Keen to learn and proactive in self-educating.
- Ability to identify and communicate risk issues, concepts, and mitigations/solutions effectively.
- Ability to engage with multiple stakeholders demonstrating strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven problem-solving and decision-making skills, capable of managing and resolving conflict with clients.
- Ability to create and deliver presentations to senior levels of management.
