**Location: Tower Hamlets, East London**
**Salary:£140 - £210 per day**
**Start Date: Summer 2023 or earlier start date**
**About the Economics Teacher role**:

- Create a classroom atmosphere and teaching practice that ensures effective learning across the curriculum and serves as a professional model for clearly exhibiting effective teaching.
- Regularly monitor progress of students within the classes they teach which is then reflected in teaching plans.
- Plan and prepare lessons and teaching materials appropriate to the needs of pupils
- To ensure that lessons consistently model best practice and their classroom becomes a beacon of excellence.
- Be a qualified Economics Teacher (ideally with PGCE, SCHIIT, GTP, B. Ed, Cert Ed, BA with QTS)
- Previous experience teaching Economics to KS3,4 and 5.
- Have the ability to maintain and promote high expectations for students’ behaviour and to maintain a good standard of discipline
- Have the ability to inspire, motivate and mediate
- Be an enthusiastic, highly motivated individual who leads by example
