**Role Description**

This freelance Lithuanian Interpreter role requires you to travel around Stirling and the boarding areas, providing interpreting services in person, and over the phone between speakers of English and non-English languages. The role requires flexibility and adaptability to different cultural contexts and a commitment to delivering exceptional interpretation services to clients.

**Responsibilities**
- Provide interpretation services to facilitate communication between individuals who speak different languages.
- Interpret spoken conversations accurately and efficiently in real-time.
- Maintain confidentiality and impartiality at all times.
- Adapt to different interpreting techniques depending on the setting and context.
- Clarify any cultural misunderstandings that may arise during the interpretation process.

**Qualifications**
- Linguistic skills: fluency in English and Lithuanian.
- Interpretation skills: the ability to listen, comprehend, interpret and convey messages accurately, quickly and clearly during consecutive or simultaneous interpretation.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills: ability to interact effectively with clients and colleagues.
- Prior experience as an interpreter or translator is preferred.

**Salary**: £14.00-£20.00 per hour
