**Your Role**

You will work at a variety of Venues including Stockport Town Hall, Bramall Hall and Chadkirk Chapel and be part of a growing team delivering Food and Beverage service at a wide range of Events that vary in size from small meetings to awards dinners and weddings for up to 500 people.

This position is evening, weekend and bank holiday work at peak seasonal times.

We can offer a great starting salary of £13.21 per hour and access to great employee discounts. Working as part of the team as a food and beverage assistant you will be involved in the following;
- Bar Service
- Food Service
- Cleaning Duties
- Event set up
- Event clear down
- Event stewarding
- Experience of working in a customer service role providing excellent customer service.
- Experience of working flexibly to support teams, projects and activities.
- Experience of working with an EPOS system.
- Demonstrable numeracy, literacy and ICT skills at Level 2 (GCSE) or above, or a willingness to undertake development in this area as appropriate.
- Experience of food and beverage service within the hospitality industry.
- Knowledge of food safety, Alcohol licencing and basic health & safety legislation.
- Ability to work with colleagues to achieve positive outcomes.

Stockport Events was established in 2017 and manage a portfolio of impressive Venues across Stockport. We deliver events such as Weddings, Conferences, Private Functions, Christmas Party Nights, Award ceremonies, Exhibitions and corporate dining. Our Venues are also popular filming locations having hosted Peaky Blinders, The Bay, Brassic and many other popular TV shows. We also deliver key corporate and civic events such as Elections, The Mayors Ball and Remembrance Sunday. The business is growing and we deliver circa 1000 events a year across 5 venues.
