IT Consultant

**Role - IT Consultant**

**Location - Team Valley, Gateshead**

**Contracted Hours - 40 hrs per week**

**Salary - £27,000 - £32,000 per annum depending on experience**

**This is a full time, permanent position.**

**What is the role?**

Joining us as an IT Consultant you will work under the direction of the IT Operations Manager and collaborate with the wider IT team to provide technical support and assist with the implementation of IT solutions. Your duties will include:

- Assist with the evaluation of our company's IT systems and suggest areas for improvement
- Support the implementation of new IT solutions to improve operations and add value to existing services
- Aid in designing and implementing new systems, software, and servers.
- Work closely with the IT Operations Manager and other team members to implement new technologies.
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving issues with software or hardware.
- Contribute to training initiatives for staff on both software and hardware, and provide technical support as needed.
- Assist in the preparation of reports and present findings to the IT Operations Manager

**Who are we looking for?**
- Some relevant work experience or internship in IT support or consulting would be advantageous
- Familiarity with IT systems, networks, and software
- Strong problem-solving abilities and willingness to learn
- Good teamwork and communication skills
- Ability to work under supervision and follow directions
