**Hours**:Full Time - 35 hours (Could possibly be split)

**Location**:Home based and covering East Sussex

**Salary**:£29,338 pa

**Are you**:

- Knowledgeable and understanding of the impact on an older person’s health and wellbeing when socially isolated
- Experienced at developing a volunteer network
- Experienced at working to contract targets
- Able to work on your own initiative and as part of a team
- A great communicator with excellent interpersonal skills
- Experienced in carrying out assessments, working with partners and meeting the needs of Clients

**Do you have**:

- Experience of delivering services with clear contract targets
- A full driving licence and access to a vehicle
- Confidence to market and expand a service
- A proven track record of managing a caseload
- Experience of working with volunteers

We are seeking a Befriending Coordinator to deliver our new befriending contract. The service supports isolated older people to encourage them to become more involved in their community by providing a volunteer to deliver time limited support.
