Supervisor £11.42 per hour

Ward Cleaner £10.42 per hour

**Hours of work**:
Monday to Friday 06:00 - 07:00 Supervisor and 07:00 - 12:00 Ward Cleaner.

**Supervisor Duties include**:
To provide the highest levels of cleanliness and hygiene to the Company standards, within the contract specification and to the agreed performance levels with your Account Manager.

Supervise on the on-site cleaning team, to meet the targets within the contract specification on a weekly, monthly and annual basis.

Checking all areas of the hospital to ensure that the morning cleaners are adhering to the required standards.

Checking the cleaning cupboards

Liaising with the client’s management team regarding any issues / concern that is raised.

Laundry orders and control

Stock checks and orders

Ensuring check lists are issued weekly and filed accordingly.

**Ward Cleaner Duties Include**:
Working with the nursing team to ensure that the rooms are cleaned in a timeously manner if they are needed for patient admittance.

To ensure that a high level of cleanliness is maintained throughout the premises daily. Including theatres and wards.

Expected to clean to the frequency and standards set out in the site specification.

To ensure standards and procedures are adhered to, specifically relating to infection control.

To use cleaning materials appropriately, as instructed and economically

Empty and clean bins and remove waste to designated area, including the separation of waste, i.e. recycling and clinical waste.

To be aware of their responsibilities for Health & Safety of themselves and others.

Take pride in a job well done, committed to achieving high standards of cleanliness and hygiene

Is punctual, reliable, trustworthy and flexible.

Willing to undertake any training relevant to the role

Trustworthy, maintaining confidentiality at all times in respect of site related matters and to prevent disclosure of confidential and sensitive information

Ability to manage time effectively

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 30 per week

**Salary**: £10.42-£11.42 per hour
