**WHAT TO EXPECT**

This is where it all begins. We develop the new concepts that go on to become new Jaguars and Land Rovers. So, the emphasis is on building strong strategic, technical and financial foundations right from the start.

Prototype Toolroom is responsible for the manufacture of prototypes parts and rigs to enable vehicle and rig testing to be conducted during the vehicle development programme. The workshop covers many different disciplines including pressing & forming, welding, CNC & manual machining, inspection and laser cutting. You’ll be responsible for the stores operation in the prototype workshop.

**Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities**
- Control the daily system for booking in and out tooling items, consumables and fixings for workshop
- Co-ordinate the maintenance and calibration of all tooling under the stores control
- Ownership of HAVS records and testing schedules for tooling under stores control
- Order tooling & consumables, ensuring shelf life and stock levels are maintained (min/max), spare parts and consumables IESA
- Issue and record PPE within workshop
- Disposal and recycling of items via scrap yard and movement of materials up to 5 tonne
- Hazardous waste disposal, control of finished work and lifting equipment
- Raw material stock control
- Various driving duties when appropriate

**WHAT YOU’LL NEED**

**Knowledge, Skills and Experience**

Essential
- Proven ability and experience in store keeping and logistics
- Ability to demonstrate an enthusiastic, conscientious and willing attitude
- Good Pc and Microsoft Office skills
- A full UK driving licence with less than 6 penalty points, no disqualification and 2 years accident free record.
- Forklift experience/current licence up to 5 tonne would be an advantage, although training will be given

- Flexible work location, you may be asked to work on Jaguar Land Rover sites on a secondment basis.
- You must have a positive, flexible attitude and enjoy working in a team.
