**RDD specialise in the design development and manufacture of retail POS displays for high street and luxury brands. We are looking for workshop assistants (plastics fabrication/joinery) to join our Leicester-based workshop team.**

Key Skills and Experience:
**Print**

We are looking for people with some existing print skills; training will be given but practical knowledge of key equipment used including AGFA Anapura, Roland, Zund, and laminators would be beneficial. You must be IT literate and able to develop skills in specialist software including Asanti, Versawork, Gtk, AutoCAD, and Adobe Illustrator. The ability to read and interpret PDF production drawings is essential.

**Communication**

We operate in a deadline driven environment, with all departments working together to ensure projects leave on time and in full. You will be working closely with your team, supervisors and managers to ensure the smooth running of multiple bespoke projects simultaneously. If your targets are in danger, you will inform your line manager so the team can be sufficiently resourced to make up any shortfall.

In an industry that produces, often temporary, displays for retail we strive to find ways to improve sustainability. You will support this effort by helping to identify ways to reduce waste and energy use, and by learning about new materials or processes that could improve our work.

**The Role**

You’ll be working closely with the Print Manager and the General Manager, to be responsible for the operation of machines within the Print area, ensuring quality, accuracy, and safety. You’ll have daily targets to support the production schedule, and departmental KPIs to work towards to help meet our business goals. You’ll have regular 121s with your line manager and the opportunity to contribute ideas, issues and improvements at team meetings.

- 40 hours per week min. Monday to Friday. We operate shifts and /or overtime as required to meet the needs of the business.
