PMLD experienced Learning Support Assistant required to support KS3 and KS4 students in a Tower Hamlets SEN School.

Classroom Support are excited to be working with an SEN school in Tower Hamlets.

We are recruiting on their behalf for a Learning Support Assistant who has experience supporting students 1:1 with PMLD.

A fantastic opportunity for somebody who enjoys and understands children who have PMLD and can offer them kind and caring support and love.

There is a highly competitive rate of pay which is £400- £425 per week, for working hours of 8.30am-3.30pm.

Working days are Monday-Friday term time only.

Requirements of the role are:

- Supporting a child with PMLD in a 1:1 setting.
- Experience of moving and handling is advantageous.
- Experience of PEG feeding is advantageous.
- Using your experience of supporting students with PMLD and have sound knowledge of personal care requirements.
- Support the child with relevant resources and daily planning, this includes making them feel comfortable (organising their daily belongings) for example.
- Holding a relevant Teaching Assistant qualification is advantageous.

**Salary**: £80.00-£85.00 per day
