We require someone to work 30 hours a week **Monday-Friday term time** **only. This position would suit someone living locally due to split shifts. If you are only interested in working one of the shifts then please let us know on your cover letter**

**8.30am-11.30am & 12.45-3.45**

Within the Birkbees Group we promote and enhance children’s learning and development holistically through play-based activities. We view all aspects of learning and development equally and ensure a flexible approach is maintained which responds quickly to children’s learning and developmental needs. We develop tailor-made activities based on observations which inform future planning and draw on children’s needs and interests. This is promoted through a balance of adult-led and child-initiated opportunities both indoors and outdoors. All teams are highly motivated to deliver our ethos.

You will be working within our funded sessional care rooms and will need to have a good understanding of the EYFS as well as a good understanding of child development and the ability to plan for it. You will need to have previous work experience of this age group and be an effective practitioner. You will be a Key person to a number of children and will need to be able to plan for children's individual learning as well as having excellent communication skills.

**£10.50 **per hour depending on age, qualification and experience
