Trainee Curtain/pelmet Maker

The job would involve all aspects of soft furnishings, making curtains, pelmets, blinds, cushions & bed dressings. You would be working with our team in the making of bespoke curtains, blinds and other soft furnishings.

**You need to have**:
Good hand to eye coordination

Excellent attention to detail

A good understanding of têxtile characteristics

A methodical approach to work.

**You need to be able to**:
Work quickly and accurately under pressure

Follow instructions

Follow health and safety procedures carefully

Work as part of a team with others such as designers and machinists.

**Training**

Training is normally on the job.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £10.41-£10.42 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Derby, DE1 1LY: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Machinist: 1 year (preferred)
