An exciting opportunity to join the Occupational Therapy acute inpatient team as a Band 4 Occupational Therapy Technical Instructor. You will be responsible for providing community interventions with patients post discharge from the acute hospital under the direction of the Occupational Therapy team. This role is essential to maintain hospital flow and facilitate timely discharges. You will be involved in delivering treatment programmes under the supervision of the Occupational therapist which will include increasing independence in functional activities of daily living.

You will play a key role in assisting patients to meet their goals and promoting their independence. Interventions may be delivered 1:1 or as part of a group; in hospitals or in peoples own homes.

You will have a strong commitment to working with people in a caring and rehabilitative way excellent organizational and time management skills and be competent using IT. You will work well within a team and also be confident and competent to work autonomously.

The team has a strong commitment to CPD and service development and you will be well supported as the role develops.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
