**Responsibilities**:

- Carry out daily vehicle checks on training vehicles
- Carry out driver assessments
- Maintain records for training in accordance with company policy and awarding body standard
- Provide a vibrant, engaging and positive approach to training, with strong awareness for legislation and following company policy
- To maintain a high standard of professionalism at all times
- To keep up to date with industry standards
- Adherence to company policies and procedures

**Requirements of the HGV Instructor**:

- Previous experience in HGV training is desirable
- 3 years + of Class 1 experience
- CPC examiner qualification is desirable
- Advanced driving qualification would be advantageous
- Desirable JAUPT Accredited Driver CPC course trainer
- Understanding of the DVSA requirements
- Proficient in MS office (word, excel, ppt)
- Excellent communicator, good understanding of the English language
- Ability to work within a team and also use own initiative
- Must have attention to detail

The successful applicant will be required to undertake appropriate checks as well as providing proof of right to work in the UK.

**Salary**: £30,000.00 per year

- Worsley, M28 2LA: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:
