Market Gardener

We are now looking for a Market Gardener or couple to join our rapidly growing team. Someone with a genuine passion for growing produce, displaying an understanding of the mechanics of Horticulture in practice throughout all the seasons and be willing to follow our Organic approach. Previous experience on similar position is required.

Some of the duties you will be involved in will include:

- Creating amazing vegetables and salads for our on site restaurant and farm shop
- Undertaking a wide range of Horticultural tasks to an exceptional standard
- Planting and aftercare of crops
- Ground preparation
- Propagation from seed, cuttings or division
- Harvesting, cleaning and packing
- having a close working relationship with our Head chef to create amazing produce
- Whalesborough ethos is farm to fork
- Operating machinery (where required & if trained/certified to do so)

Salary from : £27,000.00 per year
