**North Lees Campsite** is located in the sheltered Hope Valley, 1.5 miles north of Hathersage. It is within short walking distance of numerous world-class climbing, bouldering, cycling and walking routes. North Lees campsite is the ideal base for those seeking quiet outdoor recreation in stunning surroundings and for visitors wishing to explore the Peak District National Park. The nearby woodlands, farmland and moorland are managed for conservation and form part of our Stanage-North Lees estate.

We are now seeking additional Casual Campsite Wardens to join our North Lees campsite team.

The Role

As a Casual Campsite Warden, you will assist with the day-to-day operation of our popular campsite and nearby holiday cottage, including cleaning the campsite pods and washroom facilities as well as dealing with customer enquiries and bookings.

You will take pride in your work and, with the support of the Property Manager, Senior Campsite Warden and Estate Ranger, you will ensure the site is presented in the best possible condition to welcome visitors and promote the National Park Authority.

Your duties will include:

- Cleaning of the ablutions block daily and camping pods as changeovers require
- Guiding and supervising visitors to the campsite and holiday accommodation
- Maintenance of the campsite and other Estate holiday accommodation including mowing
- Enforcing rules and maintaining safety on site
- Collecting camping fees and managing the cash

About You

To be considered as a Casual Campsite Warden, you will need:

- Previous experience in a similar hospitality role
- Practical maintenance skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- A full, valid driving licence

This is a casual role working on a shift and rota system managed by the Senior Campsite Warden. The rota will be agreed in advance and will include working early in the morning, late in the evening, weekends and Bank Holidays.
