**The role is an apprenticeship and includes off-site residential training courses.**

The role in an entry level position and involves assisting with daily production functions on the bottling line and in the brew house, driving/ delivering, manual labour, basic machine maintenance and undertaking housekeeping duties. Full training will be given.

Duties include the following:

- Working on bottling, canning and kegging lines for production runs
- Filling, lifting and shifting kegs and casks.
- Assist in ensuring that all production areas are well maintained and cleaned to the highest standards
- General warehousing tasks, including loading and unloading of vehicles.
- Undertaking deliveries/ collections of beer as required.
- Maintaining a high level of health and safety at all times

Other duties as directed.

The role would suit someone looking for a hands-on role, who enjoys working as part of a friendly team. As an entry-level position a hard-working attitude is more important than direct brewery experience.

The role will involve some heavy lifting.

A driving license is essential as there will be a requirement to undertake deliveries.

Whilst ability to work Saturdays is not essential, there will be a requirement to cover some Saturday "checks" through the year.

The succesful applicant will be registered for a level 4 brewing Apprenticeship run by HIT. This includes 12 unique on-site workshops to allow brewers to develop highly regarded skills needed in this competitive industry to meet the continuing growth of brewing across the country.

Each of the 12 workshops on the Level 4 brewing programme take place at the International Centre for Brewing Science at the University of Nottingham where industry experts bring the theory and practice of brewing to life with a series of lectures, practical sessions and tutorial
