**Direct Payment Case Worker - 32 hours per week**

**Salary Band D**: Actual salary: £22,428 (FTE range £25,932 - £30,114), plus £691.90 per annum working from home allowance, and mileage for agreed travel.

We are looking for **two **home based Direct Payment Case Workers to join our dedicated Direct Payment team. Our work is interesting and highly rewarding.

**Are you motivated by supporting people?**

We assist potential clients to understand the nature and requirements of Direct Payments, offering advice and guidance to the families of disabled children and young adults who wish to employ staff to help meet their support requirements.

**Are you a problem solver? Do you have strong communication and organisational skills, as well as having excellent attention to detail?**

Account reconciliation on behalf of the local authority is central to the role, so if you have some experience in this area it would be beneficial. HR experience or a knowledge of Employment rights would equally be useful, due to the support we offer employers. We are looking for someone with excellent numeracy skills, the ability to work under pressure and with a keen eye for detail.

**Are you flexible, able to adapt to workload pressure, and would you like the opportunity to manage your own caseload?**

While the positions are home based and a large part of the work is from home, travel will be required, as you will meet with parents in their home. Travel across the County will be necessary at times too, for Team or support meetings.

Knowledge of Direct Payments is preferable, but not essential, as we provide comprehensive training.
