Senior Buyer

**Senior Buyer - London - up to £55,000 + Benefits - Ref 1199 - 12 Month FTC (Fixed Term Contract)**

I am currently recruiting for a Senior Buyer to work for an engineering organisation based in London. Salary up to £55,000 + Benefits.

The organisation is supplying their products to clients worldwide within their specialist market and have been established for nearly 100 Years.

Due to continued growth they have the need to appoint a Senior Buyer on a Fixed term contract with potential the opportunity to become a permanent employee after the initial period.

In this role as a Senior Buyer, you will be joining a procurement team with a mixture of buyers and assistant buyers. You will responsible for running 2 - 3 projects over the 12 months, this will cover direct and indirect spend. This role is largely a strategic role with a broad exciting scope which encompasses, identifying and developing new & existing suppliers, managing multiple projects, analysing existing supply chain, visiting suppliers, working with different departments, presenting to Directors. This role will give you a great deal of autonomy to improve and develop your own projects but also give guidance to the junior members of the team.

**Requirements**:

- A minimum of 5 years experience as a Buyer
- Worked within a Manufacturing/Production/Engineering organisation or similar
- Experience with ERP or MRP systems
- Delivered multiple sourcing projects
