Portable Appliance Tester

AES Electrical & Compliance Ltd are seeking a PAT engineer to join their expanding team, carrying out testing across the North West. No previous experience required as full training will be provided.

Main Duties will include:

- Perform Portable Appliance Testing (PAT) on electrical equipment in accordance with the current edition of the IET code of practice
- Carry out visual inspections to identify any signs of damage
- Identify and document any failures or issues found during testing
- Maintain accurate records of all testing performed
- Provide recommendations for repairs or replacements of faulty equipment
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations during testing procedures
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient testing processes

**Requirements**:

- Attention to detail and accuracy in recording test results
- Excellent communication skills to effectively communicate findings and recommendations to team members
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
- Full UK Driving licence and own vehicle
- Able to pass a DBS check

Pay: £23,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
