**Job Purpose**:
Reporting to the SLT & board with line management of a small finance team.

Full responsibility for the preparation of timely and accurate management information while maintaining integrity and control of all financial transactions.

Liaise with all stakeholders to ensure the Finance Department achieves and exceeds the requirements of the operating business, maintaining a collaborative approach with all functions. Presentation and participation as a member of the management team.

Maintain an in-depth understanding of the key drivers of the business to derive clear analysis and financial performance insights.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Budget preparation and participation, proactive engagement with all stakeholders to ensure buy in and coordination with business strategy
- Ownership and control of financial operations within the business, managing your own and your team’s day to day activities
- Financial reporting, regulatory compliance, both internal and external
- Effective management, motivation, and development of the finance team including supervision and performance management
- Implementation of a change management culture by challenging and improving established controls, processes, and procedures where necessary

**Skills & Experience**:
Fully Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with relevant post qualification experience
