**HSQE Advisor**

**Role Summary**

The HSQE Advisor supports the Assurance Team in embedding Health & Safety, Quality and Environmental management systems throughout the organisation.

The HSQE Advisor will support in developing and sustaining disciplined management systems at all levels of the organisation to promote process efficiencies that lower costs, increase margins and help enable unrivalled customer satisfaction with Loram UK’s products and services.

**Key Accountabilities**
- Support the Assurance Team in developing the QMS/SMS and EMS to ensure they meet the business needs and comply with applicable standards: EN ISO 9001:2015, ISO14001:2015 and ISO45001:2018.
- Review and revise as appropriate Loram UK’s suite of management standards’ work instructions and other, related policies and procedures.
- Carry out internal and external audits in accordance with the annual audit plan and reactively where necessary.
- Establish a robust process for capturing and tracking controls derived from procedures, work instructions and risk assessments.
- Conduct inductions for new starters, visitors and contractors as required
- Deliver the in-process, pre-inspection and final inspection regimes and ensure lessons are learned and tracked to completion.
- Carry out HSQE investigations impartially following Loram UK’s methodology for establishing causal factor, logging actions and chasing action owners to a successful close.
- Carry out HSQE related projects as requested by the Assurance Team.
- Working towards proficiency in Rail operations and HSQE within the Assurance Team with the intent of developing an interdependent function.
- Participate in, and where required, lead the HSQE council meetings for the Assurance Team.

**Leadership and Talent Development**
- Ensure Line Managers and staff understand their responsibilities for ensuring tasks are carried out in accordance with the Management Systems, and highlighting any tasks not considered under the systems.
- Support other departments in HSQE related activities by education, coaching and mentoring others.

**Financial Management**
- Understand the cost implications of Quality related decisions.
- Carry out cost analysis using Loram UK’s methodology per event of Quality related issues.

**Compliance**
- Implement new or revised external standards and other compliance obligations Management Systems.
- Assist in the preparation and delivery of a risk based supplier audit program.

**Salary**: Up to £35,000.00 per year
