We are looking to recruit a friendly, experienced and professional Service Advisor for our busy commercial garage based in Kettering.

**Job description**

**Duties will include, but not be limited to**:

- Meet and greet all customers that enter the garage in a friendly manner
- Assist customers with any questions or concerns they have regarding their vehicle
- Upsell products & services confidently to the customer to gain their trust in our company’s advice
- Book vehicles into the diary via our online system
- Liaise with the technicians regarding when customer require their vehicle and check deadlines will be met
- Make reminder calls to customers for any MOT, Service or follow-up work that is required
- Source and negotiate the best prices for any parts required for work booked into the workshop and ensure they arrive in good time for the work to be carried out
- Maintain a positive relationship with customers to ensure repeat/return business
- Assist with customer collection / drop off appointments as required
- Produce quotations and invoices for customers
- Take customer payments for work carried out
- Update customer’s details as required via our online systems

**Knowledge and Skills**:

- Previous experience in a Service Department required (Commercial environment desirable)
- Good knowledge of vehicle Parts & Service terminology
- An enthusiasm for motor vehicles would be ideal
- Excellent communication skills required to be able to effectively communicate with both customers and colleagues through various channels
- Strong computer and interpersonal skills
- High attention to detail required to enable accuracy of information and communication
- Be able to use own initiative and possess good organisation skills
- Must be reliable, flexible and adaptable to the needs of the business
- Have an enthusiastic and conscientious approach to the role
- Be a hardworking, self-motivated and proactive individual
- Have the ability to work well under pressure within a fast-paced customer facing environment

**Additional Info**:

- Salary negotiable dependant on experience
- 20 days holiday + Bank Holidays
- Working hours are 9 hours each day, to be worked between 8.00 am and 6.00 pm Monday to Friday, and Saturday mornings from 8.00 am to 1.00 pm on a rota basis.

**Salary**: £23,000.00-£26,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
