Maintenance Porter

**Role Summary**

This role will support the provision and maintenance of a quality environment & equipment for the benefit of our clients & staff, working in multiple buildings on a 10 acre site on the outskirts of Windsor.

The post holder will report to the Facilities Manager and work as part of a small team. They will have the opportunity to develop their skills through learning on the job and further training, where appropriate to skillset and business needs.

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**
- Provide support and assistance to the Maintenance team and undertake minor maintenance tasks within a level of competency.
- Undertake regular checks and routine inspections on equipment in conjunction with the maintenance team.
- Assist the Maintenance Team in undertaking repair and minor works associated with the environment & activity.
- Event and room set up for training and meetings.
- Assist in maintaining all lights, emptying external bins, ashtrays, litter picking and assisting in security of building.
- Use computerised system to manage and log jobs.
- Routine maintenance of inside swimming pool.
- Assisting housekeeping team with specialist cleaning duties (such as at high level, cleaning of room fans etc).
- Collect post from different buildings on site and take to Post Office daily.
- Collection/Delivery of files, food, equipment between buildings on site.
- Collecting medication from local chemist.
- Undertaking appropriate in-house or online training required for job e.g. manual handling, use of equipment, working at heights etc.
- Other roles associated with maintenance/garden/housekeeping in order to maintain a safe, clean and well-maintained environment for the benefit of our staff and clients.
- Full clean driving licence
- Ability to comprehend and interpret instructions and complete documentation.
- Ability to use computer system to log work (training will be given).
- Ability to respond to common queries or complaints from clients, coworkers, and/or supervisor.
- Willingness to be flexible to support business needs.

All employees are required to be DBS checked and references will be needed. The Clinic is not served by public transport, so you will need your own transportation to get to work.
