Plant Area Assistant

Tamworth, United Kingdom Coppice Garden and lifestyle centre Full time

Part-time Plant area assistant required for our forward thinking garden and lifestyle centre with a focus on specimen and herbaceous plants.

**Responsibilities**:

- Maintain merchandising and housekeeping of the plant area department to maximise plant sales
- Work with the plant area manager to help with buying and merchandising of stock
- Provide customers with an exceptional level of service.
- Communicate effectively at all levels.
- Perform everyday duties such as advising customers; stock replenishment; lifting and moving stock.
- Have comprehensive Garden Centre and plant knowledge and experience
- Have close attention to detail
- Have excellent communication and team working skills
- Be able to work on their initiative
- Have a creative flair for plant merchandising
- Driving license required
- Be comfortable working on a till
- Flexible to work weekends and when required

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 32 per week

**Salary**: From £10.42 per hour
