Brewery Assistant

Due to further growth and investment in the form of a new processing and packaging site we are looking to take on additional production staff within our brew team. Ideally, we are looking for someone that has experience in working in a brewery. However, if brewing is a career that you are looking to get into, this could be the ideal opportunity to get involved in an exciting brewery business.

**Job Title**: Brewery Assistant

**Start date**: ASAP

**Location: Your time will be split between both our sites.**

Salcombe Brewery Co, Estuary View, Ledstone Cross, Kingsbridge, Devon, TQ7 4BL

Lee mill industrial estate, Ivybridge, Devon, PL21 9GD

**Hours**:
35-40 hours a week, 5 days a week with some flexibility, some seasonal weekend work may be required. There may be an option for part time or a seasonal contract, if desired.

**Your main duties**:

- Brewing
- Fermentation monitoring
- Tank cleaning
- Cask and keg washing
- Cask racking
- Kegging
- Bottling
- Canning
- Assisting at brewery tours and brew days
- Brewery cleaning
- Delivering when required

**Must have's**:

- Passion for great beer
- Good work ethic and willingness to learn
- Be physically capable of lifting 25kg sacks
- Have the legal right to work in the UK
- Have a full UK driving licence.

**Desirable skills**
- Forklift license
- Computer literacy
- Brewing experience

Pay: £20,000.00-£23,000.00 per year
