**Department**:Human Resources

**Reporting lines and relationships**:

- Reports to: Human Resources Business Partner.
- Working relationships: Managers

**Purpose and scope of the role**:
Supply a pipeline of talent into the organisaiton to enable the business to meet its current and future operating requirements.

**Main duties and key responsibilities**:

- The list below is not exclusive or exhaustive and the role holder will be required to undertake certain tasks as may reasonably be expected within the scope and grading of the role._
- Work with hiring managers ensuring every vacancy has a vacancy plan considering the unique recruitment challenges specific to the role.
- Develop and manage the agency PSL, establishing ‘recruitment partnerships’ capable of meeting current and future resourcing needs.
- Contribute to the annual recruitment budget and be responsible for controlling spend.
- Identify roles that require the input of recruitment partners and coordinate the recruitment process, holding agencies to account against their commitments.
- Contribute to developing a compelling ‘employee value proposition’ and lead on the marketing of it.
- Ensure a continual pipeline of ‘business critical’ talent by driving the employee value proposition and liaising with talent through relevant social media platforms and job boards.
- Work with hiring managers on writing job descriptions.
- Create and post compelling job advertisements.
- Provide support and training to managers on interview techniques and legal compliance.
- Support with the onboarding process and ensure the onboarding process meets the needs of the business and aides retention.

**Required/desirable skills and experience**:

- The ability to network and build relationships with relevant people and organisations to enable the supply of talent is essential.
- Experience of the renewable energy sector or construction sector would be desirable but not essential.
- Experience of operating in high growth businesses is desirable.
- Previous recruitment experience (in-house or agency) is essential.
- Up-to-date knowledge of UK employment legislation in the context of recruitment is essential.

**Required Qualifications**:
REC accredited Diploma in Recruitment Management (or equivalent) is desirable.

**Duration**: Permanent

**Days/Hours**: Monday-Friday. 40 hours per week (plus such additional hours as may reasonably be required for the purposes of the business and this may include weekend working.

**Salary range**: £ TBC
