**Key Responsibilities**
- Daily cleaning and enclosure maintenance
- Prepare diets and carry out feeding
- Detailed record keeping
- Assist with public demonstrations and experiences
- Ensure positive visitor experiences by good customer service and engagement

**About You**
- Have practical experience with zoo/exotic animals either paid or voluntary
- Have a full driving licence (essential as no public transport links)
- Have a interest in reptiles and invertebrates
- Be a good team player
- Be reliable and have good time keeping

Please note that this is a physical role where tasks will include pushing, pulling, bending and lifting weights unto 25kg

We are a small mixed collection based in West Wales, housing a wide range of species mostly focusing on birds and reptiles. Public engagement is a big part of what we do so the confidence to speak to large groups is essential.

**The role**
- Initial contract 01/03/2024-01/09/2024 opportunity to become permanent
- Working 5 days per week including weekends and bank holidays
- 7.5 hours a day at NMW
- 28 days holiday per annum

**Job Type**: Temporary contract

**Salary**: £21,940.00 per year
