Gentleman Who Wants to Explore Seeks a Patient

- This role is a private arrangement with a person or family who is seeking support for someone else or themselves. You will _not_ _be employed by or carry out work for Humans Cornwall; we have a dedicated team to help identify private personal assistants for care and support. These roles are personally assisting somebody to achieve their goals, gain independence and/or manage their daily lives; These will be self-funded by the family or person, or they may receive a Direct payment from Cornwall council. *_

**Location: Mousehole, Cornwall**

**Gentleman who wants to get out, explore & be connected to the community, seeks a patient & positive personal assistant to help him remain as independent as possible. He has a diagnosis of dysphagia and reduced mobility, which means he needs some guidance with getting around, as well as recovering from a stroke.**

**Support required**:

- Accessing community
- Meal preparation
- Personal care

**Hourly rate of pay: £20.00**

**Hours per week: 16 - 21 hours**

**Working schedule**

**Monday: 7am - 9am**

**Tuesday 7am - 9am**

**Saturday: 7am - 6pm / Alternate week: 7am - 1pm**

**Sunday: 7am - 1pm**

**Essential**:

- Full driving licence
- Good communication & language skills
- Someone who will allow him the space to stay independent & take time to build a trusting relationship
- Experience in personal care

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Salary**: £20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 - 21 per week
