The Lazy Trader is repositioning to become a fully comprehensive, free-for-all online personal finance brand and seeks to recruit a lead Media Sales Executive who will be responsible for generating sales leads, closing lucrative deals and achieving ambitiousgrowth targets.

As a key driver behind our 2023 strategic vision, you be highly skilled in the art of negotiation, creative, a self-starter, and highly motivated.

Within a broadly defined framework, you will have freedom to negotiate "win-win" outcomes for business-to-business clients that seek increased brand awareness, exposure and qualified leads through our digital assets.
- Have previous experience in media sales (preferably online publications)
- Possess a proven track-record
- Be willing to be trained
- Have had experience managing people
- Is financially driven and highly motivated
- Be an 'ideas person’
- Has a thorough understanding of the online publishing
- Possess a keen interest in financial markets and wealth creation
- Be fluent in English
- Be able to work flexible working hours, including the occasional evening
- Be UK or USA based
- Have had experience leading people or running a team
- Be familiar with CRM systems (training to be given)
- Have a minimum of two references

Core responsibilities:

- To lead the overall B2B sales process for the company
- Independently source, contact and open communication with prospective clients
- Maintain ongoing working relationships with existing clients
- Communicate and sell a wide spectrum of on-page and off-page advertising opportunities
- Ensure upcoming advertising placements in the calendar are negotiated and sold in a timely fashion, well in advance of its scheduled time
- Provide ongoing campaign liaison and follow-up to ensure clients’ needs are met, if not exceeded
- Ensure negotiated payments are received and can be reconciled
