**Contract Type**: Part Time - 30 Hours per week (4/5 days) permanent contract.

**Salary**: £27,000 to £31,000 Pro Rata

**Holiday Entitlement**: 33 Days Pro rata, inclusive of bank holidays

**2. Scope and purpose of the role**

This is an exciting and unique opportunity to join The Security Institute at an important phase of its growth and development.

The Chartership Administrator for the Registered Charter of Security Professionals (RCSP) is a key role within The Security Institute team, reporting to the Membership and Training Manager. The purpose of the role is to oversee the Chartership administration, from expression of interest (EoI) through to admittance to the register. You will play an integral part in shaping the Chartership and promoting it throughout the wider security network with the aim to increase the awareness of the offer, the two organisations The Security Institute (SyI) and The Worshipful Company of Security Professionals (WCoSP) and income for the organisation.

You will work closely with the Institutes leadership, WCoSP colleagues, the Registrars, and officers to develop and deliver high a quality service.

**3. About you**

You will be a self-driven and output focused experienced administrator, with a strong understanding of process improvement, and the drive to advance our services and extending our reach.

You will be agile, capable of absorbing key information quickly and efficiently and be confident in managing a wide ranging and fluctuating workload. You will also have experience working with confidential and sensitive information.

**4. Main duties and responsibilities (not necessarily in priority order)**
- To ensure that we have effective systems and processes for the Chartership from EOI through to admittance to the register.
- To prepare and deliver reports as required for the Chartered Security Professionals Registration Authority (CSPRA) and the Worshipful Company of Security Professionals (WCoSP)
- To provide high level administrative support for the CSPRA Meeting
- To engage with the Registrar/s to discuss chartership cases.
- To work with the Marcomms and Events team to organise chartership events.
- To conduct special projects and initiatives as assigned by the CEO.
- To review the Chartership membership proposition, to see where we can add value to members.
- To provide content to the Marketing & Comms team to keep our internal and external communications up to date.
- To negotiate partnerships and sponsorship with external parties working in collaboration with the CEO, Line Manager, and colleagues.
- To be an initiative-taking member of the small, but enthusiastic team, contributing to other projects where necessary
- To ensure that appropriate records are maintained in the correct system (CRM/SharePoint) in accordance with our internal policies.
- To ensure there is cohesive and aligned work with colleagues within the organization.
- To prepare reports as required for the Chief Executive, Board of Directors, or Line Manager
- To comply with data protection legislation and act responsibly on matters of data disclosure both internally and to third parties
