A fast growing and vibrant contractor based Derby, who run refurb and fit out projects predominantly in the residential sector.
**Your new role**
As a Health and Safety Advisor you will be supporting the MD in H&S procedures to ensure the sites and projects are run to the highest standards. Review and update H&S Policies and Procedures, visit sites to check H&S protocol is being followed, develop strongrelationships with the staff and Subcontractors, strong knowledge of House Building, Fit-Out and Refurb Projects.
Ideally have a trade so you can support the projects and spend time being hands on with the projects, showing the staff you are willing to support them.
**What you'll need to succeed**
You will be working as an Health and Safety Advisor for a construction firm or Assistant Site Manager, Foremen, Supervisor with a strong focus on H&S. This role will be split between the H&S and hands on site work. You will be an excellent communicator andbe able to influence colleagues to adhere to the correct health and safety procedures.
No formal qualifications required as these can be taken in future where required.
