**The Company**:
We are looking for an experienced Merchandiser to join a fast-growing Retailer based in Derby.

**The Role**:

- Management of all stock held internally against the key account(s)
- Answering customer account enquiries from initial season order processing through to invoice Forecasting customer demand and proposing replenishment buys to ensure optimum stock cover.
- Identify opportunities to upsell and cross sell of additional products.
- Identify items that are underperforming versus plan and making cancellation recommendations to the customer.
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure orders shipped direct from factories and delivered on time and in full
- Liaising with Operational team ensuring weekly/fortnightly orders from our UK DC are despatched in line with the agreed customer SLA.
- Work closely with the Sales Team to organise and lead regular performance reviews with Retail Buyers and Merchandising teams to discuss and review intake of Seasonal product and orderbook amendments.
- Ensuring appropriate internal stock levels are available before committing to order delivery dates. Keeping customers informed of order status and immediately highlighting any delays.
- Production of weekly/annual key trading reports required for senior management team

**Skills Required**:

- A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role with forecasting / demand planning experience
- Experience in a fast-paced Retail Merchandising role at Merch or Assistant Merch level
- Able to build a professional rapport with key account(s)
- Excellent communication skills at all levels
- Commercial aptitude from a retail or wholesale background
- Confidence to question or challenge decisions both internally and externally
- Strong analytical and numeracy skills, including ability to analyse and interpret sales/stock data
- IT literate with intermediate to advanced Excel skills and a working knowledge of ERP systems
