**Groundsperson**

Established in 1995, Bourne Buildings is the UK's largest garden buildings showsite with over 200 buildings, 5000 stone ornaments and 100 furniture sets on display.

Based in Farnham, Surrey, our family run retail business seeks an experienced, motivated Part-time **Groundsperson** to work within a small, enthusiastic, and proactive team.

This role is for maintaining our 3-acre showsite and our display models.

The purpose of this role is to keep our large showsite safe and in good condition. To do this, the **Groundsperson** will be required to:

- Rake & sweep the showsite
- Weeding and general gardening/tidying
- Clean all display buildings inside and out
- Pressure washing
- Remove cobwebs
- Prepare and top-up brochures
- Unload heavy stone deliveries
- Arrange the displaying of stone ornaments & garden furniture
- Keep showmodel signs & stone labels in good condition
- Carry stone items and furniture to customers cars
- Carrying out Health & Safety checks and tasks
- Inspecting equipment & buildings
- Completing small repairs
- Opening and closing up of the show buildings
- Possible laying of paving slab bases
- Other ad-hoc tasks

**Pay**

Wage is paid at £11.55 per hour.

**Working hours**

The days available to work are Mondays, Thursday, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays - working days to be agreed upon employment.

**Weekends & Bank Holidays will be worked except Easter Sunday, Christmas Day, Boxing Day & New Year’s Day. Tuesdays and Wednesdays are our days off each week**
