Night Porter

Who we are
The Grosvenor hotel has long been a prominent member of Stockbridge High Street. Easily identified by its iconic 'porte-cochère' or ‘coach gate’, The Grosvenor and its distinctive porch once provided arriving and departing carriage-occupants protection from the elements, whilst luggage and travellers on top could enter the building by, what was, the high-level door. The old market-hall, now incorporated into the fabric of the Grosvenor Hotel but still quite easy to identify, was the scene of the last flock master’s dinner in 1932. It was named after Lord Grosvenor when built in the early 19th century and has been a popular escape ever since.
Our lounge provides the best area to relax in comfortable surroundings, should it be for just a coffee or a cocktail.
Our large Dining Room serves up great classic and contemporary food, starting with breakfast, then easing through into lunch, and coming back then for dinner.
Our Walled Garden terrace comes with outdoor seating, gas heaters and a wood-fired oven.
For the diners, our Head Chef Neil Cooper has created an innovative menu that serves up traditional and modern classics with a contemporary twist and all expertly cooked.
For the drinkers, if wines, beers and an extended selection of gins, rums and vodkas aren’t enough, our Barman has created exclusive cocktails - or you can ask for your own special creation.
The vibe is casual, informal and most importantly fun.
