Bartender - Nightclub

We're looking for two part-time bartenders to join the night team at Volks, Brighton's favourite underground nightclub. Must be able to work weekend nights. Previous nightclub experience is preferred but not required. More importantly we're looking for someone with a good work ethic and an interest in electronic music, especially Drum & Bass.

**Responsibilities**:

- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers
- Take customer orders and provide recommendations on drink selections
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area
- Check identification of customers to verify age requirements for purchase of alcohol
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation regulations
- Handle cash transactions and process payments accurately
- Interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Assist in opening and closing duties of the bar

**Experience**:

- Previous bartending experience preferred, but not required
- Knowledge of basic bartending techniques and drink recipes
- Strong hospitality and customer service skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent time management skills to ensure efficient service
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Salary**: £10.75 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 20 per week
