**Nursery Nurse**

Empowering Learning are currently working with a Primary School between Biggin Hill and Westerham. They are seeking to appoint a Nursery Nurse to start ASAP. The successful applicant must ideally hold a Childcare Level 3 Qualification. If you enjoy doingexciting activities with children and have good knowledge of EYFS curriculum, we would love to hear from you

**Person Specification**:

- NVQ level 3 Childcare qualification or equivalent
- Experience of working in a nursery setting
- Basic Food Hygiene Certificate (Desirable)
- Paediatric First Aid (Desirable)

**Some of the Nursery Nurse responsibilities will include**:

- Key worker responsibilities, maintaining children's development records
- To comply with all nursery policy and procedures
- To work closely with the Room leader planning stimulating age appropriate activities
- To promote diversity and equal opportunity
- To develop and maintain professional working relationships with colleagues, parents and external childcare professionals
- To support children with personal care at sleep and meal times
- To ensure the nursery environment is clean, safe and inviting to parents and children
- To attend monthly staff meetings, parent's evenings, nursery outings and further training as required
